Thursday night the 2012 Arias took place at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. I was asked to co-host the David Jones Red (Black) Carpet alongside James Kerley and Jesinta Campbell.
I’m wearing a fabulous Camilla & Marc dress, Novo shoes and Ice bracelets. The guys at Mac took care of my make-up and Richard did my hair – a modern wave look.
(Thanks to Jesinta for the pics)
It seemed while on the carpet – I couldn’t stand anywhere without being in someones shot. It was a photo bombers lolly shop. I just couldn’t help myself
The night was great – performances by Taylor Swift, 360, Yothu Yindi, Jezabels & Missy Higgins
As Where’s Wenda
Me as Harley Quinn from Arkham Asylum. Only 7 people at the entire party knew who I was.
Recently I went along to a gorgeous Fiat Chrysler day where they showcased the new Fiat 500 and the Alfa Romeo Giulietta.
The day started with a lovely and insightful chat about how much these brands have evolved over the last century, including designs, logos and ownerships.
The traditional Fiat design hasn’t altered all that greatly since it’s first creation – but it’s purpose is to be compact, tres chic and european. In fact, looking back through all the ad campaigns over the decades proved that it was to be sold almost as a fashion accessory to beautiful models with a lavish lifestyle.
The Giulietta had much more of a sports feel to it, catering for another market all together.
The day was mapped out with a scenic drive all through northern Sydney, stopping off for lunch, then driving back along a coastal route. It would have been delightful, was I not jacked up on pseudoephedrine in an attempt to feel remotely better than the sickly state I was in.
Even though I missed out on the lovely drive, the team sent a little ‘pick-me-up’ with a miniature version of the Fiat 500 to take with me wherever I go!
